This Privacy Policy explains what information Slidr ("we", "us") collects when you use our TikTok slideshow automation tool, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to what we need to render your slideshows and run your account — nothing more.
Overview
Slidr helps creators turn photos and captions into finished slideshows. To do that, we process the content you upload, the captions you write, and basic account and usage information. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your uploaded photos to train third-party models.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details — your name, email address, and password (stored hashed) when you sign up.
- Billing information — handled by our payment processor; we store only a token and the last four digits of your card.
- Content — photos, collections, captions (hooks, body, CTAs), and project settings you create in Slidr.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — features used, slideshows rendered, and general activity, used to improve the product.
- Device & log data — browser type, IP address, and timestamps for security and diagnostics.
- Cookies — essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences.
How we use your information
- To render, store, and export your slideshows.
- To provide AI caption assistance when you request it.
- To operate your account, process payments, and provide support.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and debug issues.
- To send service updates and, if you opt in, product news.
Your photos & content
The photos and captions you upload belong to you. We process them solely to provide the service — building, rendering, and exporting your slideshows. We do not publish your content, share it publicly, or sell it. You can delete individual assets, collections, or your entire library at any time from your account.
We never use your uploaded photos to train AI models — yours or anyone else's.
AI processing
When you use AI caption assist or connect Slidr to agents over MCP, the relevant prompt text and context are processed to generate output. This may involve trusted third-party model providers acting as our processors under contract. These providers are not permitted to use your data to train their models, and we send only the minimum information needed to fulfill your request.
Data retention
We keep your content and account data for as long as your account is active. When you delete content it is removed from active systems promptly and purged from backups within 30 days. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data except where we must retain it for legal, tax, or security reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Export a copy of your data in a portable format.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent for optional communications at any time.

Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, scoped access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to safeguard your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of any breach as required by law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Slidr evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify you by email or in-app before the changes take effect. Continued use of Slidr after that means you accept the updated policy.
