These Terms of Service govern your use of Slidr ("we", "us", "our") and the slideshow automation tools we provide. By creating an account or using Slidr, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Overview
Slidr is a web-based platform that lets creators build, render, and export TikTok photo slideshows. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Slidr. They apply to all users — free and paid. We may update them as the product evolves; see the Changes section for how we handle that.
Your account
To use Slidr you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at support@slidr.app.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
Acceptable use
You may use Slidr to create, render, and export slideshows for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these restrictions. You may not:
- Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, or infringes any third-party rights.
- Use Slidr to produce spam, misleading content, or material that violates TikTok's Community Guidelines.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract any part of the Slidr platform or its underlying AI models.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to interact with Slidr outside of our documented MCP and API integrations.
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Slidr service without a separate written agreement with us.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
Your content
You retain full ownership of the photos, captions, and other content you upload to Slidr. By uploading content you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and render that content solely to provide the service. We do not claim any ownership over your creations.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that the content you upload does not violate any laws or third-party intellectual property rights. Slidr is not liable for any user-uploaded content.
We never use your uploaded photos or captions to train AI models.
Intellectual property
The Slidr platform, including its interface, rendering engine, AI caption system, and all associated code and design, is owned by Slidr and protected by intellectual property law. These terms do not transfer any ownership of Slidr's technology to you.
The finished slideshows you render are yours. You may post, distribute, or monetize them however you choose, subject to TikTok's own terms.
Payment & billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. All prices are in USD and exclusive of taxes where applicable. Payments are processed by a third-party processor; we do not store your full card details.
- Cancellation — you may cancel at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued.
- Refunds — if you experience a verified technical failure that prevents you from using the service, contact us within 7 days and we will assess a refund on a case-by-case basis.
- Plan changes — upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account settings. Upon closure, your content will be deleted from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We may suspend or terminate your access without notice if you breach these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law. We will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice when we can.
Disclaimers
Slidr is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce specific results. AI-generated captions are suggestions only — you are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before posting.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of TikTok. Slidr does not guarantee that content rendered through our platform will comply with or be accepted by TikTok's platform.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slidr's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these terms will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may bring claims in small claims court if eligible. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and legal landscape evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and notify you by email or in-app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Slidr after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
